Kendrick comes correct and delivers a few clever lines with a more aggressive flow than normal and kills it. With Meek spitting about the usual women, cars, and money an upbeat hook bridges you into the reason you listened to this song. I looked at this track as a test of K.Dot’s artistic versatility and he definitely came correct with his verse. Kendrick Lamar)- Many were skeptical on how Kendrick Lamar would sound seeing as his style is a complete contrast of Meek’s. Boastful rhymes is exactly what this type of beat needed. Stellar punchlines throughout as Meek and Sean exchange verses coming correct with their flows. Big Sean)- Easily one of the overall standout tracks on the mixtape consists of another dope beat and hot verses from two of the hottest rising stars in the game. Great mainstream track and one to bump nonetheless. The flow is why it sounds so well because if you look at Drizzy’s rhymes they’re extremely simple and most only one syllable. After a couple listens I’ve came to the conclusion that this is an under-average verse from Drake. I was amped up for the Drake verse from people tweeting things like “Drake got verse of the year as of right now”. With nothing crazy on the lyric side of the track, Meek keeps it slightly above average spitting about his night-life and such. A hot beat expressed by a continuous piano and drums captures the feeling of a summer ride-out track for the whip. Classic Meek flow gets the listeners ears hyped to hear the remaining 18 tracks of the second installment of the Dreamchasers series. The first seconds of the track will give a feeling of “realness” which is exactly what Meek’s bars consist of. Ready or Not-If you have read other reviews or seen reactions of others whom have listened, many will say this is their favorite and/or the best track on the mixtape. Intro- Immediately starting out with a Mike Tyson interview snippet claiming he’s his own boxer with a bit of style from all the greats, the track coasts into Meek’s rhymes smoothly.
